What Is Energy Analyzer?

An energy analyzer is a smart device that measures and records the power parameters of electrical systems. It enables energy management and quality analysis by monitoring values such as voltage, current, power factor, harmonics, and energy consumption.

How Does Energy Analyzer Work?

Energy analyzers connect to the electrical system via current transformers (CT) and voltage connections. The internal processor samples instantaneous values to calculate real power (kW), reactive power (kVAR), apparent power (kVA), and energy consumption (kWh). Harmonic analysis detects waveform distortions. Data is transmitted to SCADA and IoT platforms via Modbus RTU/TCP or Ethernet.
